crestwinds syf 05...
16.4.05 @ 22:21 ok...went for crestwinds syf on thursday...during the interval...some of them asked me how they sounded...all that i told them was that i'll tell them after they got their results...and obviously...they didnt ask anymore after that...cause they got a bronze...so what was my thoughts about their performance?...actually...set piece sounded like shit...but...all bands that i heard were the same...their landmark(choice piece)...was...what i would say...not as good as i thought they would be...cause i heard how good they sound in the band room...so you can say that i was kinda let down by them...but...actually...overall i thought it was still ok...except the squeaking...but...who cares...on the way back to school from singapore conference hall, kenneth and clayder were talking crap...so they successfully pissed off the rest of the brasses...back in the band room, grace low talked to them about the whole thing...i think she did a rather good job about it...but...i have changed my opinion about a section in the band...i think that they are just full of lesbians and bullshit...which section?cornets...i'm not talking about the seniors who have graduated...they rock ok...but this year's is crap...they blame everyone else except themselves...so what if they have wan wei and daphne there?does it give them any right to critise others?bullshit!...come on...cornets' first note didnt sound that good either...so stop blaming those who have the first note...and please...kenneth JOKED about getting cop...he didnt mean it...come on lor...dont tell me others never hated the band and wanted the band to do badly lor...i really cant stand it...i thought that daphne will be the last person to be scolding people...but hell...she joined amelia in blaming others...the surprise is that wan wei didnt say much that day...she (for once) controlled herself...she should be proud of that...i have to agree with something joel said that day...'its all over liao lar...dont blame anyone else lor...its our own fault' or something like that...its what i wanted to tell the band...shut up and think about how well you played...it wasn't a wonderful performance...not in singapore conference hall and definitly not in the band room after that...dont tell me that i dont have the right to critise you guys...i have the damm rights ok...so please...just think about what the hell was the problem...stop blaming each other...stop breaking the band further...a band should be united...not seperated...use your brains and think...stop pushing the blame...whatever's done is done...let me use a phrase shun man used to say to me after exams...'no use crying over spilled milk'...ok...its time to move on...dont give me a reason to go back to school just to scream and yell at you on this matter...ok...whatever it is...you guys will always be my juniors ok...i wun hate you guys for this cause i'm not a petty person...just think about what should be done now to prevent such things from happening in syf 2007...whatever happened happened for a reason...its a lesson to be learnt...stay optimistic...not pessimistic...ok...whats important is that you've tried your best...dont brood over it for too long... with love, xoxo |
