last day of 2006
31.12.06 @ 15:09 today's the last day of this year. woow. time flies. my last year's new year resolution for this year came true more or less. with my grades improving little by little. i'm happy. i can't really remember my other hopes for 2006. but i think they did came true somehow. lolx. so what about 2007? well, same thing. i hope my grades will improve and i'm counting on my sip for it. lol. what else? oh ya. i hope i'll be happier this year because obviously i wasn't that happy this year. erm. think that's about it. won't want to be wishing for LOADS and ended up with nothing you know. so what did i do for the past week and tomorrow and the day after? the past week - slacking at home watching tv can be the most interesting and boring thing on earth. depending on what you're watching. went to jeremy's house to play mahjong. which wasn't that much of. only played for a couple of hours. blehx. what else? oh ya. did the psa thing that we're supposed to do. went for band practice yesterday. what else. oh ya. that's what i've been doing the past week. the only out of the norm thing that i did this week was watch 3 horror movies straight. starting with saw1, followed by i still know what you did last summer and ending off with friday the 13th 5. too much horror movie make you have weird dreams eh. lol. what about the next 2 days? hmm. most probably will be staying at home finishing the princess hours dvd ba. the most go my sister's house and eat? i don't know. what am i going to do tonight? stay home watch the taiwan countdown duh~. i'm not that interested in singapore's countdown. maybe because there's my favourite singers at the taiwan countdown.lol. hmm. that's about it for the last entry for 2006. hope you guys out there enjoy your countdown. happy new yEar! =) with love, xoxo 12 days of xmas...mother version!

@ 18:52 first of all, MERRY X'MAS!!! alright. let's talk about the last few days. let's see... well, friday night's performace was alright. it wasn't as bad as i thought as a whole. but i screwed up quite alot because ... i can't pitch some of the notes because i was ill and didn't have enough air to support through. (i know. that's just an excuse.) when we finally arrived back in school and finished with all the clearing of stuff, it's like 10pm already. i only reached home like 10.45pm. kind of late. but come to think of it, it's not really that late. then saturday. woke up late. didn't manage to go to jonathan's band prac. (*sorry) slacked at home the whole day. oh ya. yesterday. the nightmare. imagine waiting for the ikea bus at tampines mrt station for 30minutes. when you finally got on the bus, there's this woman aged between 40 to 50+ sitting beside you, which does not have a seat. it's the place where the first aid box is. she talks so loudly that even with your mp3 on, you can hear the very details of her conversation with her friend. and when you tried coughing out loudly and sniffing as if you've got a horrible cold, she sits slightly away from you. but minutes later, she's sticking her arm on to you again. oh man, where else can you find such ugly singaporeans except on x'mas eve on the ikea bus? lol. and then came today! christmas! woke up in the morning to find loads of new messages. with most of them being christmas messages. so i spent my morning and early afternoon sending people christmas messgaes. lol. so...what did i do for the rest of the day? let's see, watching tv (although there seems like there's nothing nice to watch), falling asleep inbetween and ... oh ya. eating my lunch and dinner. lol. oh well, if only there were someone to spend christmas with me. lol. hmm. this reminds me of an article i saw yesterday in the NewPaper. it was stated that single females tend to feel lonelier during the festive season. i didn't believe it at first, but after some thinking, i'll have to agree with it to a certain extent. hmm, i'm nearly fully recovered from my LONG illness. think should be able to recover by the time new year comes if i watch what i eat and stuff. so, i hope everyone will look after yourselves. so you end up like me being sick for 10 days! lol. well, take care!!! 14.12.06 @ 21:51 first thing first. i got my n73 yesterday!!! yippe!!! (ok...calm down) alright. so after my ccc test on monday, i've been either slacking at home or going out shopping. (all those who are still having test don't kill me!) so on monday i finally went over to ikea tampines. it wasn't as BIG as i thought it would be you know. but...who cares. its the fun that counts. playing around with the snakes and the furniture...oh man, that's fun. oh ya..i just remembered. since its the end of the year, i'm going to say some things to 3 of my dear friends here. so here it goes ... to georgie thanks for being such an understanding and caring friend. you might not know it but sometimes talking to you is relaxing enough for me to forget all my troubles either with *ahem* people or with you know what. don't be too stress with anything alright? if you're stress, you can look for me to give you some of my crappy craps to relax you know. erm...what else...oh ya, it's good to follow your heart, but sometimes its good to follow your head and vice versa. you know what i'm talking about. ;) to randy first, thanks for being such a great listening ear when i'm complaining. second, thanks for being such a good punching bag when i'm bored. thirdly, thanks for being such a nice guy who listens to my crap and make me feel less moronic, pathetic, idiotic and whatever with the -ic's. i know i've always called you a girl, but that's a compliment to show that you're feminine in certain things. 9.12.06 @ 22:43 just got home from a religious event with my parents. it was a learning experience. just like any other religious events that i went to with either my parents or my friends. won't elaborate more on it. didn't manage to study for my ccc test at all today. but i did manage to study through it once completely last night. and i thought to myself "hmm, i've spent so much time on this thing, shouldn't i pamper myself a little with a movie?" and sure i did it. i watched death note. nice. i thought the guy was cute. but in the end i changed my views about him totally. he 'killed' his girlfriend. oh man. this is bad. but now i'm totally looking forward to the sequel. death note 2 the last name. i wonder if L will ever find out who kira actually is. lol. but don't be a spoiler and tell me or let me see the manga or anime. i want to watch the movie. oh well, guess i'll have to study tomorrow. but there's a possibility that i might have to go out with my parents again tomorrow. haix, we'll see how it goes. erm, anyone want to go shopping or slack around after the ccc test??? with love, xoxo to all my darling friends ... 8.12.06 @ 15:23 today's the last day of school for this year and this 'term'. we'll be having our mid sem test on monday. thankfully we only have 1 paper. so we officially start the holidays on tuesday. or should i say monday after 12noon! we're going to buy the phantom of the opera tickets on monday. randy's going with me in case i buy the wrong ones. i'm so glad this year is coming to an end. but with the end of this year comes the start of 2007, which means 3 assignments that's due in the first week! with mep raw footages due on 3/1/2007, title seqence for single cam on 6/1/2007 during our make up tutorial and chinese newswriting feature article on 5/1/2007. oh man. am i able to finish them in my holidays?? i hope i get my phone soon. been waiting for it for more than a week. i want my n73!! hope i'll get it before christmas. or better still before i resume band practice! so i'll be able to play with it. next saturday i'm going back for jonathan's band practice. heard from the last practice that they're having this exchange thing with their band. i'm like 'what??' can't blame me. didn't go for 2 practices before that. lol. well, i'll be back within the next 2 or 3 weeks with my reflections and new year resolutions. hope i won't bore you to sleep. i'll add in an entry to say things that i've wanted to say to my beloved friends but never had a chance to or didn't have time to say to them. so if you're free, drop by in a couple of weeks and i'll have a little paragraph for you. if i don't, it simply means i've said what i wanted to say to you already! before i go, i want to say something. 4.12.06 @ 09:16 oh man. standard chartered marathon is so fun! BUT i wasn't running. i was 'route marshalling'. it was fun to watch the people run at the corner of marina mall. (i wonder where's the mall...lol) there're a lot of interesting people running. there was this man wearing the japanese traditional custome. so cute. there were this 2 girls who dressed up as catwomen and spiderman (or should i say spidergirl) and this mother who was running with the baby trolley in front of her. alot of interesting people running the marathon. and another interesting thing is there're more senior citizens running the marathon than i expected. and they're running much faster than the young ones. and the ladies ... oh man they're fast. faster than i expected. it's scary ... the speed they run at. scary. that was an eye opener. anyway, before that, we went to settlers and play. could have played other games, BUT jade and jillian wanted to play settlers of catan AGAIN. i'm like, oh no, it's 12+ midnight, and they want a second round of it!! i wanted to play somehting else lar. but. haix. anyway, after that we waited for kenny and raphael to bathe so we can get out of there to get over to the padang. thought we could walk there, but we ended up taking a cab. when we reached the padang it was about 3am. played the 'gei wo tempo' game, we ended up with all the band people's name in it. the 3 names that appeared the most. 1) kenny 2) raphael 3) randy. lol. so fun. the night sky at padang is bEauTifuL!!! so many stars. more than the ones you can see at pasir ris park. finally went over to our 'location' at around 4.30am. all 5 of us were at different location. lucky we the 3 girls were quite near to one another. so i run over to them and talked. the 2 guys were near to each other but far from us. so guess they talked...or maybe even psp-ed. the night. what else can i ask for? with love, xoxo sph trip
1.12.06 @ 17:22 sph is fun! it was an enjoyable day at sph. listening to a senior reporter talking about interviews and huang wen hong speaking to us about radio. it really makes me want to go to sph for my internship. i love radio~! anyway, i'm sorry to hanna that i can't go celebrate your birthday with you later. but i still hope you have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY~! tomorrow's the standard chartered thing. hope i'll enjoy myself. i'm getting my new phone soon. paid a deposit on thursday. anyway. the term's coming to an end. test on the 11th of december. hope i'll do well for it. lol. will be back soon. or when i can. with love, xoxo |
