4.12.06 @ 09:16 oh man. standard chartered marathon is so fun! BUT i wasn't running. i was 'route marshalling'. it was fun to watch the people run at the corner of marina mall. (i wonder where's the mall...lol) there're a lot of interesting people running. there was this man wearing the japanese traditional custome. so cute. there were this 2 girls who dressed up as catwomen and spiderman (or should i say spidergirl) and this mother who was running with the baby trolley in front of her. alot of interesting people running the marathon. and another interesting thing is there're more senior citizens running the marathon than i expected. and they're running much faster than the young ones. and the ladies ... oh man they're fast. faster than i expected. it's scary ... the speed they run at. scary. that was an eye opener. anyway, before that, we went to settlers and play. could have played other games, BUT jade and jillian wanted to play settlers of catan AGAIN. i'm like, oh no, it's 12+ midnight, and they want a second round of it!! i wanted to play somehting else lar. but. haix. anyway, after that we waited for kenny and raphael to bathe so we can get out of there to get over to the padang. thought we could walk there, but we ended up taking a cab. when we reached the padang it was about 3am. played the 'gei wo tempo' game, we ended up with all the band people's name in it. the 3 names that appeared the most. 1) kenny 2) raphael 3) randy. lol. so fun. the night sky at padang is bEauTifuL!!! so many stars. more than the ones you can see at pasir ris park. finally went over to our 'location' at around 4.30am. all 5 of us were at different location. lucky we the 3 girls were quite near to one another. so i run over to them and talked. the 2 guys were near to each other but far from us. so guess they talked...or maybe even psp-ed. the night. what else can i ask for? with love, xoxo |
