7.3.08 @ 16:16 just when i thought i can finally sit down to look for a job. edited my resume a little here and there. haven't even started on cover letter. sigh, sian. have been sleeping till lunch time these days. but still feeling kind of lethargic even after a fruitful 12hour sleep. *yawns* have been having some weird dreams these days. i wonder why. anyway, sent off jiaoman yesterday morning with randy. that georgie was late (as normal). breakfasted at macs. walked around T3 before leaving for TM. the ride from T3 to TM was sure bumpy. lol. watched Water Horse. randy left for school while georgie and me went to driving center. saw webster there, asked to go out after lesson. but was too tired lar, want to sleep. lol. funny how the 2 movies i watched recently seem to be ... off on certain areas eh. sweeney had great actors, music, script. i love the songs, and the actors can sing really well. it would have been a movie that gets 5 stars out of 5. but their blood and meat were ... disappointing to a certain extent. maybe because i'm the saddistic kind, so the FAKE blood and meat were too fake to be real. that's the not very good thing about sweeney. then water horse, goodness. in the first minute of the show, i knew that it's something to do with nessi (the loch ness monster). and once the old man started telling the story, i knew he's the small kid. it's like super expected lar. you can guess what will happen next most of the time lor. and to think that i actually went to loch ness and took the expensive cruise with my mom, sis and bro in law searching for nessi. goodness. and find out 2 months later that its a FAKE! gosh, the disappointment at that time. personal experience aside, the script's the kind that kumaran will like, because the good guys win and its a happy ending, more or less, and it's cliche. but it does have some plus points, mind you. the visuals is nicely done. it looks real, it doesn't look like some green screened on thing. i've to say it's great. and, it's cute. well, at least before it ate up the kois and end up huge and not very cute. but personally, i think kids will love the show, because its so cute. haha. it's like after going through 3 years in this course, i can never really look at media without thinking about other stuff. with scriptwriting, i think of how good/bad a movie is when i'm watching it. even when i was watching the news last night, i can't help but think of how badly arranged the news packages were (because they put hard news at the end of the whole bulletin), it's bj. even when i go some websites, can't help but think of how badly linked the site is, because some of the links are DEAD, gosh, mep. i've been poisoned by media studies. argh, badly poisoned. anyway, shall be off doing other stuffs now. oh ya, saw this announcement when i got bored and logged in to tp mail. haha. To ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS, Please ensure that your CCA Transcripts are updated and printed before 19 April 2008. The SEAL system will be closed for SEAL entries for graduating students from 19 April 2008 onwards. anyway, this is it. tada. you appeared again, and i'm listening to that song again.
