28.9.08 @ 12:26 singing for 7hours straight is tiring on the throat. gosh, can't believe the guys (peter, joseph, nurdin) are still so hyper with all the super high pitch singing. sang the 90's songs with shun man. it's funny 'cause only the girls (me, shun man, shimin, lee bing) know the words to the old songs and the guys just sat there watching. my beloved peter sang a song for me, which he said i taught him, super funny lar. oh-oh-oh-on-ly youuuuu~ goodness. super funny, i couldn't stop laughing for that 3 minutes lar. and the smoke machine, oh-my-goodness! it's so hilarious lar. we pressed it once and we nearly died-ed in the room. the smoke smelled like vanilla ice cream lar. and peter actually pressed the smoke button like 3 or 4 times in a row so the room was FILLED with vanilla ice cream smoke. we were in a really smoky room. i couldn't even see the tv screen! haha. so ya, topone is a good place to sing and laugh your butt off with the smoke machine. but it's quite a horrible place to go to the toilet to, simply because the toilet is really bad. so ya, i held my bladder the best that i can. haha. off we went to suntec to meet shi han and alex. went for pepper so back at ehub. when we got there, bing bing thought she saw someone that she, shimin and shun man know. so we were like standing in front of newurbanmale talking about it. then after that, she told me that she saw someone else too, and this person happen to be someone she and i sort of knew. well, i didn't expect to see him there, especially after 4 years since i last saw him back in secondary school. so ya, he kept looking at us, as though he saw us before we saw him. it's quite ironic i guess. haha. so we went on to get tickets for painted skin and went to coffee bean for a chat. talked and laughed and lamed and crapped for 2 hours before watching the 11.50pm show. i've to say that the editing for painted skin isn't really good, in my personal opinion. it's filled with fade to blacks and fade from black when it can actually use other forms of transitions, especially when the fades doesn't signify a change in scene. like for one scene, before the fade was inside the house and the lead actor was walking out. after the fade, the lead actor was walking down the steps of the house. so instead of fading in and out, i thought it'd be better if they sort of capture the whole walk or maybe use another transition like dissolve or something like that. i don't know, maybe it's the cmm inside of me that's acting up. and also, the pace of the show infront is quite slow. the nice part is only towards the end. so it's like the first and second act was draggy and rather boring, but the third act is alright. the animation/green screen wasn't very well done too. it's not as good as i thought it'd be. so ya. a bad choice of movie at 11.50pm. got home rather late (3am). i wished i had the energy to go bowling though. it's been long since i last bowled. sigh. alrights, so i still have loads to do regarding my brother's video. 20days left! i realise i can't take leave on tuesday because i've got a health checkup on that day. sigh. i didn't remember that when i applied for leave that day. ok, i'll get off to CSI now before my family comes back and we get off to the bridal shop and dinner. ta-da, will be back soon. =) i want to go smell the burnt rubber and hear the cars go VROOM!
